It’ll be June in North Carolina, outside of a (really adorable) barn. We’re aiming for a very relaxed experience so keep it comfy but class it up however much you like!

Katie, Gianni, and some of our special guests have ordered customized Converse All-Star sneakers (also known as “chucks”). The embroidered sunflower style we originally ordered aren’t available anymore, but you are welcome to customize your own - ALL chucks are welcome at this shindig!
NOTE: The designs below have 6.25.22 (the date of the wedding) set to be embroidered in subtle color on the heel stripe - feel free to remove if you prefer!

Katie & Gianni’s story
Our story is a bit messy at times, but filled with love and endless learning.
Katie Yang
A queen of cool, she brings roll-with-it vibes to balance Gianni’s high-energy antics.
For the few of you meeting her for the first time, I’ll let you in on a secret: you’re going to love her. Tirelessly optimistic and as easy-going as they come, the furthest thing from a bridezilla.
In initial conversations about the wedding, she articulated her desire for participation in the planning pretty clearly:
“I just want to show up.”
That’s not how it worked out but it was a nice try on her part. (And she is doing/has done an amazing job of getting the details figured out.)
Born in Minnesota, raised in California, and bloomed in Charlotte, NC, Katie and three sons Aidan (14), Gavin (11), and Dylan (9) are the best thing(s) to ever happen to Gianni.
Gianni Masciopinto
A passionate thinker, he helps Katie think outside of the box (even when she doesn’t want to).
Originally from Long Island, NY, I’m a professional creative, occasional yoga teacher, and generally speaking a tree-hugging lover of love.
With heart stickers in my wallet at all times to literally share some, my heart is happily overwhelmed by the ginormous nature of Katie’s family. I represent half of my siblings where Katie is 1 of 12…yup!
I can’t wait to get both of our clans together for a special evening to celebrate our latest chapter in a life we look forward to building together.
